30 jaar Amiga 500 !
In mei 1987 kwam de Amiga 500 uit in europa!
30 jaar geleden dus! Wederom een mijlpaal om even stil bij te staan!
Wat zijn de beste herinneringen aan jouw Amiga 500 tijd in de jaren 80/90 ?
De exacte release datum ?
Helaas is de exacte datum tot en met heden niet te achterhalen.
David John Pleasance: "what I do know is that all the European
stock was first shipped to Commodore UK because we had a a huge Assembly plant and
distribution centre in Corby UK where I was based. It was more economical to bulk
ship computers in 40 - 80 foot containers to us then we sent each European subsidiary
their stock. So UK certainly had then first - and I did not hold back the launch -
that you can be sure of. I think it will be impossible to pin point the actual date - though"
