Ik zag hun crowdfunding project opnieuw op Facebook en heb eens de volgende opmerking geleverd:
"I am afraid you are not going to get your target. But can anybody explain to me why there is a finite amount of time for this to gather the funding? The Amiga community is of course shrinking as the computer gets older, the users getting older and less and less people will remember the machine. I think many Amiga 500 owners don't know about this project and really would love to get this new case. I don't understand why there should be a deadline for raising the money? Many Amiga owners don't care if this would take another 3 months extra, if you guys get the money eventually these new cases can be made and all backers (and non-backers) can buy these. I think they won't even mind if the new case cost a bit more to buy. As a (former) Amiga user I can only say that this is the only chance to even get a replacement case for the aging A500. But the machine is just a print plate, and with proper recaps and new floppy drives it can last easily another 40 years. So please, remove that deadline and just gather the money, many people who love the Amiga would agree with me that it's not the money we are worried about paying for this case, but simply that it is build. This has to go on"

We understand your point regarding deadlines>
However we can't do anything about it. There are inherent to crowdfunding platforms.
It is not of our design and each and every crowdfunding campaign has a maximum of 60 days to run. Not a day more than that.

A LOT of Amigans are waiting for the campaign to reach its goal to THEN contribute thereafter!
Crowdfunding do not work like that I'm affraid.
Each Amigan currently waiting should support the campaign right NOW 🙂
